¿Qué es el ácido deoxicólico? Es una sustancia natural que tenemos todos en nuestros cuerpos, que es lo que hace es disolver la grasa y la compañía sintetizó este producto. No es derivado de animal, así es que tiene un perfil de seguridad muy alto, es totalmente biocompatible y se inyecta.

Contrario a lo pudiera pensarse, un 60% de las personas que se someten a este tratamiento son hombres, como en el caso de Ángel Óscar Colón. Luego de identificar las zonas a proteger, se marca el área a tratar con puntos de diversos colores y se anestesia para iniciar el procedimiento.
Dr. JRM:
Vamos a inyectar pequeñas cantidades de Kybella™ o del ácido deoxicólico en esos puntos, tratar de hacer la misma cantidad en la zona de más grasa y después tratar los demás puntos más laterales con menos cantidad para hacer algo mas difuso, que se vea uniforme.

Generalmente para que el paciente vea resultados, deben llevarse a cabo de 2 a 3 sesiones.
Dr. JRM:
Y estas sesiones se separan a un mes. Es decir, un paciente que yo trate hoy debe esperar que a los 3 meses después de completar sus 3 sesiones va a tener una mejoría significativa en esta área, o una reducción de esa grasa submental posiblemente de un 70% a un 80% — y lo mejor de todo: esto debe ser permanente.
Paciente: Es un tratamiento que no tiene dolor, es bien sencillo, 15 a 20 minutos él se tardó conmigo y espero tener buenos resultados como he visto en otros pacientes.

For the typical patient to see results, 2-3 sessions must be conducted.

These sessions are scheduled a month apart, i.e., a patient treated today must wait 3 months after completing his sessions to see a significant improvement in this area, or a reduction in the submental fat possibly 70% to 80% — and the best part is that this should be permanent.

It is a painless treatment, very simple; it took him 15-20 minutes and I expect to have good results as I have seen in other patients.
