Barcelona Oculoplastics: Trends in Eyelid Surgery is a course aimed to oculoplastic surgeons and ophthalmologists with a special interest in oculoplastic.
We will be reviewing and updating all the concepts and issues that should be taken into consideration when dealing with patients who require surgery for blepharoptosis, retraction or blepharoplasty.
Dear José Raúl Montes,
I would like to thank you on behalf of the IMO Foundation, the whole team at IMO and myself for your participation in the course Barcelona Oculoplastics: Trends in Eyelid Surgery, which allowed us to meet on November 23rd and 24th in Barcelona
The high turnout was proof of the growing interest in oculoplastic surgery, a speciality in the process of growth and expansion as was demonstrated at the event. Undoubtedly, it will become an important element within ophthalmology and plastics in the coming years.
As a director of the course, I expect that the two days we shared in IMO could be an encouragement to organize more events like this one. From my point of view, these events are fundamental to improve the specialty.
During the course in Barcelona, we were lucky to benefit from your participation and the presence of other recognised oculoplastic experts. All of you shared your knowledge through your talks and comments in the auditorium as well as through the live surgeries and cosmetic techniques you both brilliantly and generously demonstrated to us.
Finally, I would like to thank you again for your invaluable collaboration. You are invited to any upcoming meetings and projects that, for sure, will allow us meet again. Meanwhile, I encourage you to maintain a professional connection through social networks (LinkedIn, Facebook o YouTube), via mail or by telephone, where I am always at your disposal.
Yours sincerely,
Ramón Medel
Oculoplastic surgery specialist at IMO
