A partir de agosto (julio) Puerto Rico contará con el primer y único tratamiento no quirúrgico para eliminar la papada. Como nos dice Luz Nereida Vélez en NotiSalud, el mismo ya fue aprobado por la Agencia Federal de Drogas y Alimentos, conocida como la FDA.

Luz Nereida: It is called Kybella ™ and it is a treatment based on injections that will help reduce the fat that accumulates below the neck. It is estimated that 68% of people suffer from what is known as double chin.

Dr. JRM: Most importantly, it is a natural product; something we naturally have in our system which dissolves fat. This product contains no human or animal-derived substances. It is synthetically originated with a very high safety profile.
Luz Nereida: There were seven clinical trials conducted with over two thousand patients and they had virtually no side effects. The product also contours the skin; i.e. tightens and lifts.
